Hey all,

This is going to be a bit of a massive post because two cool things happened this past couple of days so bear with me.

Well, like I said in the last post, I went to Cardiff on Saturday night as my parents were coming the next day. So that night was just spent with me talking and catching up with my sister and also being on the computer (as per usual). Fast forward, we woke up the next day thinking that we were going to pick up my parents from Cardiff International Airport. Suprise suprise, the whole city centre was shut down because of the Carling Cup Final between Manchester United and Wigan (which we won 4-0! Glooory glory Man Uniiiited!) and that included the Central Bus Station. So I called my parents to tell them to get to Aziah's house by themselves. Not that we were anak jahat but we just had no choice.

After like an hour of waiting they finally came! It was so good to see them again after again and it was hugs all around. Aziah had some multicultural show rehearsal for that night so she wasn't there when they arrived. They later ate the lunch that I cooked (yes, I can cook!) and we were just sembang-sembang about things at home, how they were , their trip to Brazil etc. Was very nice la I must tell you, hehe. Aziah later joined and asked if they wanted to see her modelling her baju kebaya raya which my parents said yes. I didn't bother as I had some work to do that night. I got loads of stuff that my parents brought that I requested and also some stuff from their recent trip to Thailand. I then had to leave the next morning (Monday/yesterday) because I had a test and classes that I better not miss. I spent so little time with them but what to do...

Bye mom and dad, hope your flight tomorrow back to Malaysia will be a good one.

So on Monday had the usual lectures and small groups and stuff but I went to a concert that evening. 3 guesses who it was...KELLY CLARKSON [AskMen/Wikipedia]!! It was AWESOME!!! There was a few people who went but those who were with me was Mukrish, Salini and Chepah. It was a 11,000 people crowd which were just one of the best audience anybody can get. Imagine, if in a gig you have a couple hundred people jumping up and down to a rocky song, this was like the whole NEC Arena was rocking to Kelly's songs. Her vocal prowess really shone that night. A few of my favourites were performed namely Gone and Since U Been Gone. Best giler jumping up and down to those songs! She did a beautiful a capella performance of Beautiful Disaster and her ending, Breakaway, was so nice as she got all of her audience to to sing along with her but the crowd memang sing along with her all the way pun from the start of the concert to finish :p

I only have one gripe with the concert and that is that although she really connected with the crowd during her songs, she didn't really in between songs. The way she cakap macam bla bla bla...but other than that for me best la. Her style is simple and the sound and lighting was simply fabulous (I want to find a sound system that can match that night punya but of course on a smaller scale la)! Kudos Kelly for a super successful concert that I throughly enjoyed. I felt like going to another of her concerts in UK although I already went for this one, hehe. "BEST LA!" seems best to sum up this experience.

Before I write up a novel, best to say goodbye for now.....goodbye!!!

Your friend,

Here it is where a humdrum fella writes on what he feels like writing, when he feels like writing. Boring? Interesting? We shall see...
