Hey guys....

Actually la, dah malas la nak update this thing. Kidding! Well, theres been a lot going on since the last update. This is the low down on wats been happening; jalan2 with my bro n sis to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Oxford and London, my results [ :'( ], packing my stuff n later on...BALIK!!! So lets start bit by bit yeah?

Well, the trip to Scotland first. The reason we went to Aberdeen was actually so my sister can visit her friend there. Took a 10 hour bus ride and it wasnt really as long as it seemed. The view of the countryside was nice and u can really see the transitions of the environment going from Midlands to the north. OK la, it may not be very obvious but there were subtle changes. It was the 11am bus so we only reached Aberdeen around 9pm while having to change busses in Glasgow before. One thing though, if I knew u hafta go thru Dundee dah lama I stop there first to visit Mirin while I let my siblings go to Aberdeen alone :p Sedey2.... A funny thing happened too! When we were waiting for the bus to disembark in Glasgow I noticed a familiar face in the Megabus alongside mine. It was Tomok (aka Chewbroccoli)! Lama siot tak jumpa...Since there was no way he can receive my telepathic messages I quickly called Mirin to get Tomok's number. So the I called the fella la. Best siot, haha. 2 guys in quite close proximity but talking on phones, haha.

So we reached Aberdeen. IT WAS COLD LA WEI!!! Mr Small wasnt kidding when he said his brain freezed there n he cant remember the trip @ all. OK la, it may not have been dat bad but bad enuff. Windy as hell, raining, cold...wat can a person as for more? It was an OK small town la. Its a harbour town by the way and only 2 things keep this place afloat: its oil industry which it doesnt get much back for and the university. Boy, u can see how dead this place is since its summer. Bosan wei takde org! Tak byk man... Spent 2 nites there which was quite ok la. My sis' fren Mike brought us around to see the riverside, the uni, the beach and a bit of the town. His own flat was cool. A 3-room flat which was a real cool bachelor pad...nice. One thing though, thank god I didnt go there. If life in Birm was hard for me at first...here it would have been hell!

So after Aberdeen we took a 4 hour bus ride to Edinburgh. Bunked in a hostel called Backpackers hostel and the place cukup makan la. Can sleep, bathe and eat in :) Reason we came here was coz my bro wanted to check our Heriot-Watt Uni since he wants to do Actuarial Science. Chet, Alevels blum start n nak usha uni oredi...takper la. 2 nites ere to so the first nite juz lepak 1st. Met Phey Ming before she took a bus to London. Long time no see la her, same nice girl as always. Dah mula kerek a bit la but dats cool. Make a person more interesting anyway, haha. The next day, we went jln2 la wat else. Not bad la Edinburgh, has that old historic look but like Bristol, SO HILLY LA. Naik sini turun sana, repeat a few times huh. We also went to Heriot-Watt. 1st impressions, like a giant KMYS but different a bit from Bath. How different ah? Dunno la but this place mcm nicer je (ok la thats not fair since I only saw Bath Uni at nite :p).

A good thing happened in Edinburgh also! U guys must kno Dan Brown kan? Well, I've read 2 of his books which are Angels & Demons and The Da Vince Code so I really wanted to finish all his books by getting the other 2. So that week Waterstones was having a special of all his books being half-price! Not only that, the '3 for 2' offer was also valid with the '50% off'. So I got Deception Point, Digital Fortress and also Da Vinci Code which my brother wanted all for just 7quid!! Best tak? Muahahaha, that time it felt that waiting really makes things more worthwhile in the end.

Back to the trip, we took a flite in the last morning in Edinburgh with BMI Baby since it was quite cheap. Around 17quid per person for a 1 hour trip to Birmingham? Definitely worth it. Sumthin happened also masa tu. My brother yg pandai2 pagi2 nak minum ice-blended before boarding d flite sakit perut teramat sgt when sumer nak kuar. Sila la kena tunggu dia! The whole plane's passengers was waiting for us too in the bus that will bring us to the terminal. My bro went in the plane's loo and took a long time to come out, MAWUUU!!! No la, was quite an episode but thankfully he was ok after that and the other people wasnt staring at us when we finally boarded the bus.

When we cleared customs and stuff we went back to my room to freshen up a bit n then they had to catch a bus to Cambridge to meet my sis' fren Ashvina. So I sent them off. Rasa cuak hell ok! Tmr nyer is results n I got a gut feeling that I didnt make it. So mlm tuh to distract myself went to see Batman Begins! Best giler ok! Anybody should go see it. One of the better fantasy films and the acting was soooo much better that SW3: ROTS.
