Heya! Still here I see. Well, we shall not waste anymore time shall we? On to…

Day 3 : 6/4/2005 aka Wednesday

Yup, we planned to go Disney today for Walt Disney Studios. Last2 sumer penat giler n so we decided to do other things on our list. We left at 10am for Musee de Lourve, the biggest museum in the world. Not before Pojoe was singing in front of d mirror for an hour as he woke up quite early, hehehe (Pojoe wif gestures: aku leelaki...). A friend asked if it really was THE biggest museum n we replied “Kalo besar lagi nak letak apa abang oi!”, hahaha. So yeah, we reached Louvre around 1030am n queued up for the tickets but we tgk2 the Mona Lisa was only to be shown @ 2pm since they juz relocated her to a brand new room. So we decided to see the sights around Louvre la while waiting for 2 o’clock to come. Outside was a nice park/landscape on the way to Concorde which is juz a big stick with a gold top. It was nice anyway, on d side they had drawings on how it was made and transported there.

Jln2 cari pemandangan we did and den tetiba ada gak org yg tertinggal. Bukan apa, dey were juz looking at the painting sold by street vendors…and they bought a few. Quite expensive la if u ask me. So we took pics here, pics there, pics everywhere! If I’m not mistaken I say the Invalides Hotel ke apa benda tah and it looked quite grand. A lot of stuff there looked majestic indeed. Far away I saw the Arc de Triomphe. As I’ve heard the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Arche in La Defence, Concorde and the Musee de Louvre are all in a str8 line. Is it the old meridian line? Tatau la (Da Vinci Code sket…)

So after taking pics n Ufah buying crepe we decided to head back. But ada la lapar gak…d gang suddenly wanted to hangout near the ‘pond’ while me n Aiman wondered by ourselves. He belanja me popcorn coz he was also hungry…thanx Aiman!!! And so we headed back to Louvre. Once there we also heard that there were also group tickets at much lower prices but had to be booked before for us to buy. Takpe2, Cik Ada went to enquire about it in the sales office n they said they can give us at that time but the whole system in that office was down for sum reason so if we still wanted the tickets we hadto wait for god-knows how long. Bincang3..we decided to go other places n go Louvre on out last day in Paris. Yela, y waste time rite? So where did we go? Hmm…try to remember…

Oh ya, 1^st stop…Grande Arche in La Defense. I think its sum Defence Ministry Building which I can say is actually a big waste of space. Cantik tu cantik but come on ah….around there was a office building/Hilton Hotel which was quite nice and a dome structure aptly named The Dome. And there was also a statue of sum sort sticking out like a sore thumb….I’m not joking la…it was really a thumb! We then went to Notre Dame nak tgk Quasimodo :p but y c Quasimodo when we have Sid? Haha, terbatuk membe. Anyway, it was starting to rain after but we took pics of the place. Nice architecture but I didn’t bother to climb the 452 steps (thnx Abi 4 d info). They were having a service for the late Pope anyway. The park had this pinky flowered-trees that the girls and Aiman tried to jump and see how high they can reach! Me…hehe.

I forgot sumthin else, before Notre Dame we went to Anvers for lunch, Sacre Coeur and…shopping! It was quite cheap compared to other places (thanx Ada for telling us abt dis place) so we bought sum stuff. Pojoe bought LOADS of stuff (well, he did end up as the person who had a lot of Parisenne things to bring back). Be careful of ppl who would tie u up n mintak duit saying that the thing they tied u wif is a souvenir in Sacre Coeur. Alhamdulillah we didn’t get those. After Anvers we went back the hotel 4 awhile to put our stuff , pray, rest and later to Notre Dame!

After those we went to this place called….called…(jap refer blog kwn) Place des Vosges! Wat was nice abt dis place? Dunno….juz a high-class place wif high-class restaurant and a closed park. Well it was 8pm so we cant really blame the time can we? :p D thing is that getting to this place was soo susah. Masuk RER C but the entrance lead directly to a platform dat we didn’t kno was correct or not. Apa lagi, gamble ah masuk train. After 1 station I knew we were in the wrong 1 so had to change @ d next stop. But it was ok la in a sense, Sid was so happy abt finally seeing a 2-storey train. Seronot btol la kwn kita ni. Next stop…Moulin Rouge! This area ah, red-light district oooo. A whole road of benda2 yg Muscom mmg takkan approve, hehe. They had a grill with air coming out of it from the ground ala Marilyn Monroe! Wat was so weird abt dat u might say? They had pantyhoses tied to it so those pantyhoses were flying la…hahaha. And another, a Sex Supermarket. Waduh2…got out from that place after taking pictures :p

Cik Ada kita mlm ni had to go to her frens place to spend d nite so me n Pojoe teman her la. Her fren tuh actually kwn Bit from Soksek…namanya Harlina…I think. Anyway, org nyer ramah n sampai nak buatkan air 4 us but me n Pojoe had to rush back. Takut tertinggal train n nnti kena plak overnite in Disneyland, heh heh. D thing is kan, Lina’s room tuh beeeesar!!! Yela, it was a studio but heaven nyer. We asked how much was d rent n d figure wasn’t bad @ all. Nak tinggal sana! Oh well, we got back safe n soundly n saw Aiman n Sid main Monopoloy with our student Wani. Hahah, she became us four’s student in Pangkah & Dummy 101. More on dat in later posts. Pojoe as b4 pengsan dulu, hampeh la wei! I juz watched Aiman n Sid n Wani played Monopoly pasal bosan (actually penat gak but if tdo awal2 tak ke wasting?). When they were done all of us tdo…so on to Day 4!

Day 4 : 7/4/2005 aka Thursday

Day 4 Paris = Day 2 Disneyland! Yeah, our target dis time was Walt Disney Studios n to start it off how about sum adrenaline rush? N to top it off…a dummy, hehehe. Well we decided to go on that Aerosmith Coaster and Pojoe was like,”Tamau..tamau!” Well, not like that la but close. So to make him go coz it’s a shame if he didn’t we tricked him into saying it juz a simulation like the Star Tours. Mula la sorg2 tipu dia, I started wif d simulation thingy, Aiman said it was nuthin n gonna b ok n Sid…haha. U almost blowed my cover man! His face was like “Wat d hell r u sayin la Azizul?” but after giving him sum eye signals he got it. Mula la dia kata “A ah! My fren rode it last time n it was a simulation!” sukses! Pojoe ngan happynyer ikut kita sumer. Den horror stuck! It was a proper ROLLERCOASTER! Start la dia “Wei, korg penipu la” ini la itu la but we juz dragged him anyway. At the entry gate his was like fainting oredi…hahah. But in the end he was like refreshed when he got out of it. Everybody was soo excited n thrilled so we went another time! N dis time Husna came along as she backed out during the 1^st ride. Last2, sumer ok jer which was cool :)

After that we watched another parade! But dis time it was juz random characters so it wasn’t much fun. N den we went around, masuk ni masuk tu. Rode a flying carpet, took summore fotos, Pojoe, Wani & Ufah took a drawing class. We did dis all while waiting for…Stunt Show Spectacular! This was 1 cool stunt show where they had cars doing drifts la, motorbike chases la n lots more! At first they were asking for volunteers n den sum of was like “Y not?” thank god la we didn’t get chosen. It was obvious dey only chose kids n d things d ppl asked d kids to do were kinda lame. Also, it was 1 dummy after another…cheh it should be Dummyland instead of Disneyland :p but the show was fun!

Then there was another parade. They had Mary Poppins, the Disney Kiddy Characters, The Incredibles (hampeh, y wasn’t Elastigirl a read Girl!?), Pinocchio n lots more! Right after that, Armageddon! Another dummy. Yes, it was supposed to b juz a Sfx showcase but come on la..do sum cool ones like simulate we’re falling down 1 storey or sumthin la! It was juz fire here fire there n oh..sum water :p Man, to those so near to the sides I hoped ur eyebrows didn’t get burnt! After that was Animagique n Cinemagique!

Animagique was soo cool. It was sumthin abt Donald goin into the animation world to get ideas n got mixed up between sum rolls of film. I especially liked the part when they had butterflies flying around. That was sum spectacular display! The whole show was choreographed to perfection. Animajoke? Animajack? Haha. Then was Cinemagique, “A tribute to the world of Cinemas”. Yes, this too was cool. Especially parts when they interweave different movies so carefully, the part where the sword came out or even when there was a door in the screen. Fabulous! Best part, they included Star Wars! But where the lightsaber mister?! Oh well…

We also went for the Behind the Scenes tram ride which was good and almost drenched me n there was the Television Studios. The presenter girl was hot! “Je Mapelle Julie” lol! There was a proper simulator rollercoaster (kesian Pojoe) n we decided to go on it. Pojoe wanted to pair with me n I was like “U sure??” but he wanted to so ok. We built a coaster with a thrill factor of 5 which was the maximum! Yela, track dok merah je byk2. Only 2 yellow inserts we did. Again Pojoe was starting to get weak in the knees n I was getting affected by him but both of us got on anyway. Results…disappointing. Well, it is a simulation so we can't have the G-forces or the wind. We got mixed good tho. So after that Me n Aiman decided on another round on the Coaster! This time in front as we did it on the middle and back before. Yes guys, the front is better!

So after all that we went back to the gang but Ada dah blk…Hilang la sorg peceria, takpe2..We started our shopping ere since we were scared we couldn’t get back into the main Park. Beli ni beli tu….not me la, I bli skit2. We also went to the free-to-enter-but-we-do-security-checks Disney Village. Loads more stuff there, I bought a little more stuff while my frens…takper la. Haha. N den, I think we went to La Chapelle to find Halal food after chucking our stuff in the hostel. Got a tip from a friend that there was loads there, yeah rite! Only found 1 or 2 itupun dah struggle. Us guys since we ate a bit in the room wasn’t really feeling hungry so we juz ordered a pizza to b shared among us.3 cheese pizza ykno. Muak juger…

N den we went back. Plan was, to go out again juz us guys to chill n enjoy the Paris life but since it was too late tak jadi la plak. So we buat la sesi luahan perasaan or as Sid would call it Pillow Talk (sounds quite gay la). We talked this n that while playin Black Jack n then Chor Tai Ti. The best part when we drank the coke that we bought from a store in La Chapelle. Sila la the bottle design was like the one in Malaysia n it was kinda cheap (they have diff bottle designs there). We all drank a bottle n a bit more between the four of us. As soon as we realized it we were laughing our asses of for like 15-20 minits. I can't remember if it started wif a joke or not n dat was the 2^nd time it happened to me! My abdomen was aching like hell after. We slept sooo late after that we didn’t kno how we were going to survive tomorrow. Well, Day 5 n 6 later yeah? (Sad la to write those).
